8/11 ~ This program is great! Diana lost 2 lbs. the very first day, 2 the second; and I lost 4 the first and 1 the second. We were both very comfortable with the diet and had more than enough food and energy. It's easy to understand, easy to follow, and I don't anticipate any problems continuing with it.

8/19 ~ It's my third day and I'm smiling. Here's what I wrote to a friend just now: I'm on a project of decreasing weight and size (again, and I hope for the final time!) Today is the third day on the "I Love Dieting" (not sure I like the name) -- and I was disappointed that the scales show no decrease yet. But then I remembered to measure, and AHA!! Of the five places measured, four were smaller, for a total loss of 3 1/2 inches. It's working, and now I need to tell others and get a support group of buddies who can encourage each other
7/2 ~ My husband & I started on the I Love Dieting program on Tuesday. By Thursday we had lost five & six pounds respectively. I've already shared this with others and they are eager to get started.
8/12 ~ This is just the 4th day of my diet and I can tell you it is going to change my eating habits forever! I feel so much better not putting JUNK into my system. I am not that much overweight, and have never tried any kind of diet before. I would like to lose 10-15 pounds that I have gained through 3 kids! I have lost 2 or 3 already!! We'll keep you posted on any good results the rest of the group is experiencing!
7/17 ~ I have been using the program for five (5) days, and I've lost 8 pounds. I have not felt the hunger pain yet. This is a best I've ever done on any Slim Plan program.
8/1 ~ Just a quick note to say I started the diet on Tuesday, and today, Sunday, I am 5 pounds lighter and 6 ¾ inches smaller!!!!!!! And as of today, my buddy has started the diet. The important thing I have found is to always have water (BESTWATER, of course) and a baggy with raw fruit and/or veggies with you. I just ate watermelon while the rest of my family enjoyed chocolate cake and icing for my daughter's birthday! I told them I was enjoying my piece of chocolate cake, too! Please keep sending the testimonies. They really help keep everyone motivated. Smiles.
7/28 ~ By the way, I started my 7th day of the I Love Dieting today. I have lost 6 lbs. Am never feeling hungry or any of the problems with regular diet plans. No "growly" stomach, etc. Am very excited and happy with this program and am starting to offer it to others.
9/9 ~ I'm on day 6 and am loving this program!! In fact, my sister (who lives upstairs from me) is doing it, too. So are my mom and my dad. We're all loving it. I feel fabulous (although I think I went through some major carb withdrawal in the first 3 days), have lots of energy, and am getting results. I don't have a scale, but can tell by the way my pants feel that I've probably lost around 3-4 lbs. More importantly, I'm experiencing for the first time in my life what it's like to NOT be addicted to carbos. (I was borderline severe addiction on the questionnaire).Anyway, Luke, my son, had two cookies yesterday, a bagel, and then ice cream right in front of me and I wasn't even phased. Normally, I'd be eating the crumbs and anything else I could get my hands on. As long as it was his food, I'd convince myself that it didn't count as far as calories or fat for me. So, since I was unaffected by the sugar that was inches from my mouth, I knew that something major had changed in my body and mind. Amazing! Anyway, thanks for all you're doing. 5/19 ~ I'm sure you are getting lots of good stories form all over. One of my buddies is a friend and we buddy by e-mail. Here is a response she had today and I wanted to pass it along to you.Ruth BellDear "Loser", you have a real "loser" for a friend too!! I was so excited to weigh this morning and see that I am down 10 lbs. from the start (8 days). I am also working out with a trainer and doing aerobics 2x's a week. It feels so good to get back in shape. I have you to thank, because I was considering going back to Weight Watchers the day I got your e-mail about the diet. It is so easy for me! I love all of the fresh fruits and veggies, and I know it is the B-Complex that keeps me form craving. I am going to continue for the whole program and then teach a diet class. I wanted to know it would work for me the whole duration and then I will teach others. Have a great day. My tip for the day is combine one of the Slim Plans (Van), and one serving of protein (Van), and put into a blender with fresh strawberries. I also do that in the afternoon with a banana. So, I am combining 2, twice a day and doing a single of protein. Soooo filling and yummy! Enjoy that new car!!! Love ya lots!

8/16 ~ I have been on the "I Love Dieting" program for one week and I feel fabulous! I have lost 7#'s already and it's been so easy. You know how you go on a diet and you feel like cheating with something sweet - I never feel like cheating! I feel so satisfied. I had fish today with grilled eggplant and a salad and I couldn't even finish it all. I really feel so satisfied all the time . My husband has already noticed that I've lost weight too. What a great program! Already one friend has expressed interest in doing this too and there are more who will want this because it is so easy. (All I want to lose in total is 16#'s - so I am practically half way there!)
5/25 ~ I have been on the program a week and have lost 6 lbs. I feel great and know I have lost inches. My clothes are getting bigger already. I forgot to measure the 1st day. Have 3 people on it already and more coming. Thank you so much for sharing your diet. We don't feel deprived or hungry most of the time. 9/2 ~ Wow, It really works... My buddy's initial comment was, "I'm going to do it right or not at all!" I got the idea... so, off I went to farmer's market and stocked up on fruits and vegetables for the week. I'm into the second week, and I've lost 7 lbs.! Today I am boiling some chicken for soup, will chill and skim off any grease so I can add a few veggies. This diet has been great. If I get hungry, drinking water with a B-complex helps, but the alternating fruit and vegetable snack works best. Thanks for all you've put into this... you're the greatest!
8/17 ~ I greatly appreciate getting your update testimonials through e-mail. They inspired me to try the diet, and I lost 9 pounds in 10 days; but then cheated and learned the lesson of not messing with good things happening to my metabolism. I'm back on track and expect to have favorable results again this week. Thank you.

7/8 ~ I am doing absolutely fantastic this week. It's been 1 1/2 weeks on the "I Love Dieting" and I have lost 6 pounds and almost 2 inches. My problem during the 1st wee was trying to eat too many veggies that I didn't like -- and trying to eat too many at one time. I would make a salad with about 2 1/2 cups and try to eat it all at once. I was gagging on the lettuce. So, I did what you suggested. I only ate the veggies I love and had a piece of fruit after. I liked the fruit after rather than before, because I had something to look forward to, hey, whatever it takes! After a couple of days I found I didn't necessarily need the piece of fruit after, could save for later. I ate 2 cups of veggies yesterday and it was great. Finely chopped celery, radishes, cucumber, carrots and zucchini are the veggies I like the best. Tonight I am going to have baked fish and baked squash. Yummmm.
Thanks to you, I am getting back to the palette I was originally born with and have destroyed over the years with processed food. I am shocked that last night I could eat my chicken kabobs (chicken, pineapple, cherry tomato, green pepper and red onion) and feel satisfied mentally and physically and then went for a 45-minute hike (uphill mostly) after dinner. The amount of B-Complex is awesome, no sugar cravings at all.
I can't believe that after so much struggling that I am actually going to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time. I will be in Toronto at a svelte 125-130 pounds! No one will recognize me!!!! God Bless You.

6/15 ~ Thank you so much for the "I Love Dieting" program. On our way home from AZ this year, Glen & I talked about how we both desperately need to lose about 40# each and are ready to do something drastic to do it! We had your books and tapes waiting on our desk at our daughter's when we got here. We started it the next day, each lost 6# the 1st week and are on our 2nd week. We love it!
9/24 ~ I started on the program, went one week then was on vacation and started over in a week with week one. I am half way through week 3 now, and I have lost 19 pounds... am I excited. I have tried several things to try to lose weight and not been this successful so quickly. I have seen the folly of not having food prepared ahead so will be trying to be more careful to follow closely so that I can move ahead again. This reminds me of Suzie Orman's "less is more" statements to do with financing. But I feel more energetic and more motivated the less of me there is! Thank you again. I have 2 people at work who want to start, and I think there should be more soon.
8/26 ~ I've lost 12 pounds and I am in the third week! I must say, that first 4oz. of chicken sure did taste good!
8/2 ~ As promised, I am giving you an update on my progress on the program. Today is the first day of the 4th week. I have been following the program for the past 3 weeks, making only slight changes, such as the first day, I ate my 4 cups of fruits and no fresh vegetables, and at the family reunion picnic and banquet, I ate meat twice that day instead of once, Even with that exception, I weighed this morning and discovered that I had lost a total of 16 pounds with shoes on . I usually weigh in the morning because my weight is approx. 2 to 3 pounds less than in the evening. I include my Slim Plan Program in my prayers. It has worked just as well as many of the testimonials others have given. I am truly grateful for this experience.
7/22 ~ I am on day one of week three. I have lost 9 inches and 7 pounds!
7/22 ~I have completed 3 weeks on the program & have lost 12 1/2 pounds & 7 ¾ inches! That is including a 3-day trip to Ainsworth, BC where I went off the diet, but ate carefully. I still lost a pound over that time! I am amazed at how good I feel while doing this & the cravings are gone. Unbelievable!

7/9 ~ I am seeing "I Love Dieting" as more than just a diet program. I am sharing it with my clients who have just gotten into too much processed food and consider french fries as a serving of vegetables! They don't need to lose weight, but they do need to detox and get into a healthy eating pattern. This is so wonderful because I know they won't be hungry. I am amazed that I can sit next to anyone eating a hot fudge sundae and I can be perfectly happy with a ripe peach and cherries. It's a choice to create health and this is what I tell my clients. I'm doing GREAT! I am on week 4. After losing 10 pounds the first two weeks and only 3 the third, I was a little down... but not for long. Just remember, "I will concentrate on today only!" One day at a time. Heck, I went to the Iowa State Fair 4 times during the 3rd week and that is something I always looked forward to... I used to 'live to eat' and now "I am eating to live!" I am now wearing clothes I haven't been able to wear in years. I am looking forward to wearing even more of the clothes I was prepared to give to my church, now they are going to get the larger sized ones, because this is going to be a life change for me. I was bordering high blood pressure and am no longer there. I am just fine, no medication for me... just a healthy lifestyle. I went for a health assessment at the office I work in during the day and am excited to get the results back. I am almost at the end of the fourth week and have lost 15.5 pounds. I just sent the most recent testimonies to a friend. The end of my 4th week was a grand total loss of 17.5 pounds and 14 total inches. I'm down almost two clothes sizes now. FANTASTIC!

Along with this outstanding diet plan, I've found the books done by Bob Green entitled, "making the Connection" and "Keeping the Connection" have really helped me get committed to an exercise program. (He was Oprah Winfrey's personal trainer during her last big weight loss.) Exercise was the key to help the lbs. come off more quickly. I mainly walk about 3 miles/day for now in the early AM while it's still under 80 degrees!

8/21 ~ I am so excited. I have just finished my sixth week and have lost 16 pounds. I was out shopping and discovered that I could actually wear a size 14 skirt. It has been three or four years since I was into that size. I still want to lose more weight and will probably continue to work the plan. My muscles are getting stronger and my chiropractic bills are going down. I am actually full after eating such a little amount of meats and I don't need as many carbohydrate foods to feel good. I also no longer need to live on caffeine pops to stay awake. Glad to hear about the new booklet. Love the testimonials you have been sharing a lot. They help to keep me encouraged.
8/19 ~ Had a good birthday present today - down 2 more for 20# total!!! Now 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to a Staff Retreat with our ministry next month. Many of the folks there saw us in April. 8/14 ~ I'm looking ahead with two weeks left on this wonderful diet. It has been very successful for me to lose the last 10 lbs. after my second baby was born in November. I also lost 3" around the chest, 2" at the waistline, and 1" at my hips. I plan to keep drinking the perfect breakfast after the diet. It is so easy in the morning taking care of my husband and two daughters, and then whipping together my delicious meal. Love the diet, all the nutrition info, and being part of the family. 8/13 ~ I am in the beginning of week 6 and have lost 12 pounds and my wife has lost 17. Better yet, I have much more energy and feel better than before. This has really been a great program.
8/10 ~ At the end of 6 weeks I have lost 17 pounds! Wow. On the days when I eat, I am eating from the 3rd week plan. I am very happy with that. I have no desire for bread, sweets, cheese or eggs. Becky and I both had a mostly vegetarian diet as you know, but we have opted for chicken and fish while on I Love dieting. When I am off, I am planning on introducing some carbs back in to my diet, but nothing refined -- only whole-wheat pasta or grains form health food market, lentils, millet, etc.

9/16 ~ I have tried about every diet that I've ever heard of over the last 24 years - the results were always the same - I would lose some weight, and shortly after stopping the diet I would put the weight back on usually plus a little more. So my results were very depressing - I just got bigger and bigger. About 4 years ago, I decided that I would never, ever try another diet; in fact, I really dislike the word "DIET." When I first heard about Linda Prosak's program, "I LOVE DIETING," I just decided that it was another "crazy diet plan" and I was not going to get involved, after all, I had decided that dieting did not work. Well, when the testimonies started coming over the email from folks who were so excited and successful, I decided that there wouldn't be any harm just to send for the book and tape.
Having read the book and listened to the tape, I still decided it was not a possibility - I didn't think I could survive on all those raw vegetables. It took more testimonies coming in over the email to convince me to give it a try. The first week I lost 9 lbs! I have now completed 8 weeks, and I have lost 33 lbs. and a total of 19 inches. I LOVE this program! I Love the "Buddie" system! I LOVE the raw veggies! I LOVE Shaklee Slim Plan! Three of my sisters are following the plan - also with great success. I have never been hungry! I have NO cravings for sweet things! I sleep well! I feel well! I have more energy! I now have a plan that works and from which I can completely change my lifestyle - the affirmations are great! I have 100 lbs. to lose so I am going full steam ahead - but for the first time in my life I know this will be successful, I know it will stay off, and I know I making lifestyle changes that will benefit me for the rest of my life. P.S. I am married to an Englishman - he likes lots of fatty English foods, like pastry sausage rolls & pies. Roasts and fried fish & chips, etc. etc. I have been able to make him all that he has wanted and I have not been tempted to eat any of it.
9/1 ~ Here is another testimony for you. My wife and I finished the 8-week program and I lost 18# and 10.5 inches. My wife lost 14.5#'s. My goal was 20#'s and I'm confident that I'll lose two plus pounds if I continue to follow the eating habits cultivated during this 8 weeks.
8/27 ~ I am thrilled to report that I have lost 20 lbs. on the I Love Dieting program these past 8 weeks. I feel so good and have so much more energy. I will admit that the first week was a challenge for me due to eliminating bread from my diet. I had been eating 3 slices for lunch and 3 or more for dinner. Instead I have learned to like raw fruits and vegetables.
I quit smoking 6 years ago (2-3 packs a day). I tell myself that if I could quit smoking I believe that I can change my eating habits and lose the 30 pounds that I desire to. I learned a new form of exercise (aquacise) that I do one hr/day from Monday through Friday. I now look forward to a regular routine of daily exercise which I did not before I Love Dieting.
8/25 ~ I have a testimonial with the program. I just finished my 8 weeks and lost 10 lbs. and 5 inches. I feel great and have so much energy. I still have 10 more lbs to lose and started over with week one. It feels really good, because I have been trying for a few years to lose this weight without success. 10/27 ~ I am down 40.5 pounds and 38 inches. I began my program 8-1-99 and maintained for a couple of weeks after the first 8 weeks, while I kind of took a break and made some food choices that were not on the program. I still lost 3 inches or more during that time. I am wearing some pants today that I never thought I would be able to wear again. I have 19.5 pounds to go and it is coming off slower, but is still coming off. I have many people asking me what I am doing and telling me how fantastic I look. Thank you very much! I feel better than I ever have in my whole life. The I Love Dieting program gets easier as time goes on. If you are one that is continuing past the 8-week program, it gets easier, because you don't want the junk anymore. I ate a few different choices over the weekend and was happy I did, to realize that the choices I made were not really what I wanted and didn't make me feel good. So, now I am back on track with my choices and feeling better than I thought possible. I love my new life because of this wonderful program... exercising has become my favorite part of the program, because I can do much more than I could before the weight and inch loss, plus the energy I have is phenomenal... 10/9 ~ I wanted to give you both an update on my "I Love Dieting" testimony. I began the program on June 14, 1999, and I absolutely love it. I had tried everything and was beginning to think I would never lose the weight. I was committed to doing something that was good for me, because I didn't want to lose weight and in the process, lose my health.
I believe this program was an answer to a prayer for me. I lost 9 1/2 pounds the first week and felt great. The first month I lost 17 1/2 pounds and 10 1/2 inches. Now, I have lost 40 1/2 pounds and over 30 inches. I feel and look better than I have in years. People don't recognize me and are shocked when they realize it is me. My family just saw me for the first time since the weight loss and they are stunned. Everyone is talking about it and wanting to know what I am doing. Of course, I tell them about "I Love Dieting." I know that I am healthier and that is so important to me. My husband is thrilled with the "new" me. He told me a few weeks ago that I look like I did when he met me! That was 8 1/2 years ago.

10/8 ~ This Monday (Oct 11) starts my 14th week on the diet. I have lost 35 pounds and plan to continue until I lose 55. I'm still on the total program although I went back to week one for this week, because at weeks 10 and 11 my loss rate had slowed down. I figure my body was doing some internal adjusting during this time, but I want to "re-clean" my system for what will be the home stretch (last 20 pounds) in my I Love Dieting journey.
The weight loss is wonderful, but things are happening that are more important. I know if I don't change my "thought life" patterns (habits) as well as my physical habits, I will gain the weigh back plus some. My thoughts are changing. I feel different about myself today than when I started. I've gone from "I hope I can lose some weight" to "I am getting healthy and will stay that way". My wife, Susie, (25 pound loss) and I treasure the walks we take as a result of the program. We have incorporated them in our lifestyle to where they are becoming habitual. My mom has lost 12 pounds and is doing great.
Again, I thank you and Linda for this program, actually, way of life. It has certainly changed my life in more ways than one for the better!
9/21 ~ I am as delighted as anyone with my results from "I Love Dieting." And though my initial response to the name was negative, I have finally come to also LOVE dieting. I have lost 25 pounds in 3 months. Losing weight has been a lifelong series of failures for me. And even this one had to be modified in the beginning to get my body to finally accept that it had to let go of stored fat. That is where I would give up with most diets because they weren't working and I was starving, so why bother. With Linda's suggestions, I got the weight loss to kick in. I think part of that was the power of the affirmations, because for most of my life I have been telling my body that just about anything I ate was going to go to my hips. It took the mind-body connection to make my body learn to behave differently. Along with the consistent exercise and food plan.
Even though I have always eaten healthfully, I have been overweight. It is important to me not to put harmful things in my body, but I was to the point of considering using something not so healthy to just get some weight off. Fortunately this program came along first. When I saw what it involved, I had no problems with the idea of eating this way. And it has truly not been a problem to stay on it. In fact it is difficult to imagine not staying with some variation of this plan after I reach my goal of 15 more pounds off. I am in the ILD high, with more energy than people much younger (I'm 49). (I feel sometimes that I am operating at Ludicrous Speed, the speed after light speed in the movie "Space Balls," a take-off on "Star Wars.") It feels wonderful. I am light, peaceful, positive, and in love with the world.
In terms of hunger, I have to say that I do get hungry, which is the time I eat something on the plan. (It would be dangerous to eliminate this instinct completely, wouldn't it?) And I am almost always then satisfied. It is never the desperate, out-of-control, HAVE-TO-EAT feeling that I had before. It is more of a "Well, it's time to nourish my cells, which fresh thing
will it be?" The Slim Plan is incredibly satisfying. I am immeasurably grateful to have been presented with this healthy and effective way to lose weight. Hugs and kisses to Linda.
9/26 ~ What a joy to share the success I am having. My husband Doug has lost 18# and I am down 25#. We just returned from a week conference in TN for the ministry and I did not have a problem! Since we have completed the first 8 weeks - in fact almost 10, we are going to repeat week 1 and then go back to 5-8. I have much more to go!
9/2 ~ I'd be happy to describe my I Love Dieting experience. I'm 33 and have three young children. As time went by after my 3rd was born, I was disappointed to see that the weight didn't gradually come back off as before, in fact it kept creeping up! I ended up about 30 pounds heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight (before I had any kids). so my ultimate goal is to lose 30-35 pounds - that would make me a comfortable size 10.
I have never been successful on a "diet" and had pretty much decided they weren't worth trying until I heard about "I Love Dieting." Since I love the products, I wanted to try it, although I was not sure I could "drink" so many meals. To my delight, the program has been easy to follow and I have felt great. The weight loss comes fast enough to reward you for your efforts and help keep your vision and commitment strong.
I started the diet on June 21, which would mean I'm in my 11th week now, except that I spent over 3 weeks this summer on vacation. During my vacations I did not follow the plan exactly, but I did the best I could and still kept losing weight - just as a slower pace. I am very happy with my 20-pound loss so far! One of the good things about the program is that once I had been on it for a while, eating a bigger meal or something that is higher fat makes me feel so bloated and yucky that I don't want to do it again.As I get closer to my goal, I am already thinking about maintenance. I would enjoy hearing people's experiences and strategies for maintaining their weight loss. I never thought I'd be so excited about a diet, and I'm thrilled to have something this special to offer to people.
